Cartoon investigation

Investigando con el Cartoon y sus posibilidades en este trabajito que se me encargó para un pedorrillo anuncio de cereales.
Hoy día la animación , aquella tan bonita y tradicional, tan solo encuentra regularidad en los anuncios de cereales.
Esto se llama crisis.

Honda

Hi everyone and thank you very much for such a great response in my angry last post.
Today I share my last work for Honda with the most crazy schedule: 4 days! ( jesus christ   ) but I finished it on time!!
So I'm very proud and happy. Everything is drawn and painted. I will post some drawing-processssssssssss.

Hoy os enseño mi ultimo trabajo para Honda, de la mano de la Agencia VillarRosas ( Barcelona ), buena gente. Gracias especialmente Enric y Patricia.
Ha sido la gran locura: tan solo 4 días para terminarlo( de un Jueves a un Lunes). Pero todo fue estupendamente a pesar de la pérdida de color de tres o cuatro pelos, de esos que me cubren la cabeza.
Técnica: mucho dibujar y todo pintar.

Pues nada , que una panda de mierdas han echado mierda de toro por ahí y todo apesta... con lo honesto que es uno y la de porquería que le rodea.
Este proyecto se fue a la mierda por el movimiento serpentino y reptiliano de alguna babosilla.
Este dibujo que aquí veis se lo dedico a aquellos pobres de espíritu que trabajan en esto pisando con mala uva. Y no cuento más que no quiero manchar el blog.
El dibujo no está terminado de todas formas.

my way of work y mi manera de trabajar

Bastante gente me pregunta siempre como trabajo, es digital? blah?
Pues cada vez trfabajo de una manera, y nunca sé como voy a trabajar la próxima vez.
Tengo mis propias técnicas, y para mí funcionan bien.
Me fuí por todo Londres( mentira, mi vecindario y alrededores del curro) y tomé apuntes y fotos para crear una calle enorme.
Siempre dibujo antes todo. Si no tengo una base de dibujo no sé por donde empezar. Con lápiz , regla y tintas Pantone.( que me encantan )
Luego escaneo y comienzo a pintar.
El resultado final está abajo.

Few people ask me how I work .
I have my own techniques and is the way that work fine to me.
For this work at Xbox:
First I went all around London. I take lots of rough , drawings and sketches and photos.
Then I draw everything . I always draw everything before to get in the computer, otherwise I don't know how to began.
For my drawing I use pencil and pantones ( I love those materials)
Then I scan everything and start painting on top of my drawing.

EXHIBITION 23th-28th April

Hello,
Since last Monday I'm having a group exhibition where you can see 6 of my large acrylic canvases.
The exhibition features 7 media industry artists, including the well known artists in this blog: Neil Ross ( AKA LIMBOLO ), Glenn Whiting, Brendan Amphlett, Isabel Radage, Lisa Vallentin, Michael Schlingmann and myself...
The exhibition will be running until Saturday April the 28th. So If you want to visit us you still have time.
It would be great to see you.
You can see me in the picture with a stupid expression under some of the canvases.

Desde el lunes pasado expongo en una galería aquí en Londres. La exposición acoge las artes de 7 artistas cuyo nexo común es que todos curramos en el mundillo este de mier..... de la publicidad y el cinemascope. ( personalmente, muy felizmente ) Las artes del archiconocido en este blog Neil Ross ( Alias Limbolo ) Glenn Whiting, Brendan Amphlett, Isabel Radage, Lisa Vallentin, Michael Schlingmann y servidor, se pelean por la mirada de los cientos de paseantes...

La exposición terminará con aun fiesta por todo lo alto el Sábado 28. Este que viene.
En la foto puedes verme bajo alguno de los trabajos que expongo, Acrílicos sobre lienzo.
Poco a poco, y en cuanto tenga fotos buenas, las iré poniendo.

I hate to be away from my blog.
I hate not to check blogs and things for long time. BUT I've been away with Marvelous , in Ronda (Spain) and working in several things.
The days in Spain were fantastic. Working a lot in locations and people for "The Asparagus Seeker".
Everything happen in "la Cazalla" the most dreamy place you can ever imagine.
La Cazalla is where my very friend and writer Rodrigo Ashorn ( The Asparagus Seeker ) is living, with the fantastic Maria Ruiz and Laurita Almellones.
They own this very beautiful and quiet Hotel in Ronda ( MALAGA , South of Spain) that you should visit If you are looking for inspiration, amazing landscape, peace, and amazing organic and local food.
It's also where we conceived our project , where we spend hours and hours talking and working about it.
